Article Review Process
British Journal of Business Sciences (BJBS) adheres to a rigorous double-anonymized peer review process to uphold the highest standards of academic integrity, objectivity, and quality.
- Initial Assessment:
All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial screening by the editorial team to verify alignment with the journal’s aims and scope, as well as adherence to formatting and ethical guidelines. - Plagiarism Check:
Submissions are subjected to plagiarism detection using reliable software to ensure originality and compliance with the journal’s anti-plagiarism policy. - Editorial Assignment:
Manuscripts deemed suitable are assigned to an academic editor with subject-specific expertise for further evaluation. - Reviewer Selection:
The handling editor selects a minimum of two independent reviewers with relevant scholarly expertise to evaluate the manuscript. - Double-Anonymized Review:
Both authors and reviewers remain anonymous to each other throughout the review process to promote unbiased assessments. - Reviewer Evaluation:
Reviewers assess the manuscript for originality, methodological rigor, clarity of presentation, and contribution to the field. Each reviewer submits a recommendation: accept, minor revision, major revision, or reject. - Editorial Decision:
The editor considers reviewer feedback and makes a decision accordingly. Authors receiving revision requests are expected to address all comments and resubmit within the given timeframe. - Final Evaluation:
Revised manuscripts may be re-evaluated by the original reviewers or reviewed directly by the handling editor before a final decision is made. - Acceptance and Publication:
Once accepted, the manuscript proceeds to the production stage, which includes copyediting, proofreading, and online publication.
The BJBS peer review process is designed to ensure fairness, transparency, and scholarly excellence at every stage of publication.
